This is a 1950’s black sleeveless wrap tunic. It’s long and wide and it closes with two small buttons at the front. It’s a basic wardrobe staple that can be worn both formally and casually. It’s in good vintage condition. It is an original tunic from the 50’s and it has been repaired. It has some internal mending stitches and one external white stitch at the front (see pictures). The fabric is 100% silk satin and has a very soft touch.

It was bought in 1976 at a vintage market in Islington, London. No visible brand. It has been worn a few times and kept with great care.
