This is a 1980’s midi sleeveless white dress with a matching navy blue belt by St. Gillian by Kay Unger. The dress has a white/vanilla color, a balloon skirt and two central front pockets. It closes with a back zipper. It shows some signs of wear: mainly the white color is slightly stained under the arms. Otherwise, in great vintage condition. The belt is navy blue with a gold pleated buckle. Made in Hong Kong.

It was bought at Neiman Marcus in 1987 at Friendship Heights, Washington DC, together with the matching jacket as part of an ensamble. The jacket is also available on this site. It’s a ready-to-wear piece and it was worn once for a wedding and a handful of other special occasions. It has been kept with great care.
